I cannot recommend Kurtis enough when it comes to building a loft conversion. We had a relatively large conversion along with a 4 piece bathroom and fitted out wardrobe/dressing room. Kurtis had the whole build complete in 6 weeks. The whole thing was smooth and stress-free with no complications and above all was to an excellent quality. Kurtis was always prompt and worked long hours which saw a rapid transformation. People were regularly amazed at the quick progress. Alongside this, Kurtis was an excellent communicator and very well-organised, so I always knew what was happening and always knew ahead of the situation what I needed to have ordered or ready. Having had different building work before, I was ready for the upheaval, but there wasn’t any. Instead I had a lovely, polite, highly-skilled and professional workman who, went above and beyond with this job. I also have 2 very young little girls, who could have found the constant in and out of different workmen and little dating but, instead they now want Kurtis(and his labourers) to babysit them, they were so pleasant and friendly. If you are considering a loft conversion, then simply look no further and book him.

The very best thing I can say about Ridgeline lofts was that the entire experience from start to finish was stress free and of the highest professional standard. The communication from Kurtis is the very best I have experienced from any builder and he kept us fully aligned and updated with progress all the way from paying the initial deposit to concluding our most amazing loft conversion. I think its really important to give praise where its due and if you choose Kurtis and his team you will not be disappointed! I entered into the process very anxious having heard all the horror stories where friends had projects which had gone wrong, unresolved, ran over costs etc. Therefore I did lots of research prior to choosing Kurtis. I looked around for who came across the most professional, thorough and comprehensive. Kurtis and his team are very professional. They are kind and thoughtful. Communication is on point and I always knew what was going on from week to week. His team is kind and considerate – often listening to me go off on tangents with new ideas and always professionally guiding me for the process to get the best results. We were living in the house during the project which wasn’t always easy because we have young children and pets. However – everyone who worked on the house was extremely courteous and professional. Always cleaning up after themselves which was a big help in the evenings. The tradesmen he recommends and uses are reliable and appear when they say they will. Which from past experience is a huge positive and helped the project stay on time. I think the results speak for themselves in the photos. Beautiful work. We are a big family who had outgrown our home and couldn’t afford to move. This was an affordable option which was completed to a high standard thanks to Kurtis and his teams attention to detail. They managed to keep the project to stick to the projected time and completed a refurb of an existing bathroom and give us a new beautiful en-suite in the loft. Final thought – it isn’t just about the job and completion. Its about aftercare too. Any queries I had regarding for example the carpet fitters and any after thoughts I wanted reviewed – Kurtis was very responsive which is great project management. Would definitely use in the future if we were to need another loft converted!

Ilford A big thank you to Kurtis and this wonderful team at Ridgeline Lofts for our new loft conversion. Right from the moment we met Kurtis, we knew we wanted him to do our loft. He was very professional, polite, friendly and most importantly he listened to our ideas (which may other loft conversion companies did not do). He seemed very genuine and reliable and took the time to explain the whole process. During the project he incorporated our ideas and also provided his professional guidance to create the perfect loft space. He has a lot of attention to detail and he genuinely wants to do an amazing job. He completed a 1930s hip to gable conversation with one bedroom and a bathroom and the full re-tiling of the roof, front and back. Every specialist tradesman in his team are of a high calibre and all very professional and so hardworking. The whole project was totally stressfree, Kurtis managed the whole project so professionally. If at any point we were not happy with something he would listen, make sure it was rectified and always went that extra mile to make sure we were 100% happy. Kurtis was always available prior to the project, during the project and even after completion if we ever had any questions. We were also really surprised how little mess this job created, they were extremely clean and made sure our house was spotless before they left each day. They have a lot of respect for your house. We Kurtis and his team just finished a loft conversion and first floor bathroom refurb in our 1930s terraced house. Kurtis made sure that the loft conversion naturally fits in and fills like its always been there with a lot of light and handy storage in the eaves. Kurtis with his team were always on time, working hard throughout the day but always finds time to answer any of your questions and keeps you updated on progress and the next steps. I was fortunate to have met Kurtis and have him take control of, and build our loft extension, a two double bedroom and en-suite Jack and Jill toilet and shower room. In any of these situations where builders or trades people come into your home it is natural to feel nervous or stressed due to the upheaval of normal routine and works in general but very quickly we were re-assured and knew that the project was in very professional hands. Firstly, Kurtis and his team were very punctual and were present everyday until the build was complete (ahead of schedule). Working from 8am and sometimes until 6-7pm, if a certain task had to be finished. Every stage of the job was taken care of by Kurtis and executed expertly with a very good finish and very tidy. From the demolition of walls over chimney stacks to the placing of steel beams to even joinery work on the stairs and sitting Taylor made wardrobes, there isn’t anything Kurtis cannot do and done to a very big standard. We are so happy with our new home and where you hear some scary stories about building projects, we couldn’t of been happier with the experience and outcome. He is highly regarded and recommended.
